Dear players, parents and supporters,

I write to you wth some great news for the Boroondara Cricket Club in our quest to improve our training facilities for all our players.

Josh Frydenberg, Treasurer of Australia and member for Kooyong, has pledged $25,000 to held build additional training nets at Victoria Road Reserve should the Coalition win the Federal election.

Josh recently visited the Club where he had an impromptu session with junior players Harriet & Gus Syme and Sarah & Charlie Grummitt (see attached). Josh’s support is greatly appreciated by the Club as we push to improve our training facilities and ensure that as we grow, all our players are able to train at our home ground. Based on subsequent discussions with Boroondara Council this second set of nets could be built within the next 12 months.

“With 21 junior sides & 5 senior teams, Boroondara Cricket Club is a local sporting powerhouse. A re-elected Coalition Government will provide more nets for this fast-growing Club” – Josh Frydenberg, https://www.facebook.com/292602604891/posts/10156803890174892?s=100003816782558&sfns=mo

I trust you’re all enjoying your cricket off-season.

Go Cobras!
